Original letter for The Keith Larsen Fan Club from club president Robert Carl. It dates from 1955.
Letter is on Keith Larsen Fan Club stationary dated Sept. 17, 1955: "Dear Chaw: At long lost I am finally getting this off to you. Keith has been so busy with his new TV series BRAVE EAGLE that I really haven't had much contact with him lately. Anyway, I cornered him the other day and asked him about his favorite prayer. He has no special prayer that is his favorite, but does have a Bible verse which is a favorite with him. I hope you can use it. The verse is from Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Sincerely, Bob Carl." It's signed "Bob" in blue ink. Comes with mailing envelope postmarked Los Angeles, Calif., Sep. 21, 1955.
Keith Larsen (1924-2006) starred in TV's Brave Eagle from 1955-56. The letter is in reference to Chaw Mank's published book, My Favorite Prayer (1956), a collection of celebrity prayers, bible verses, et al.
Letter is near mint in envelope – as fresh as the day it was sent from Los Angeles 62 years ago.
